Hire
The Adelaide South West Community Centre has a Meeting Room and an Open Space which are available for hire for meetings, training sessions, workshops, forums, art and craft activities, cooking demonstrations and small functions.
Availability
Rooms are available for hire weekdays, evenings and weekends.
Room Capacity and Set Ups
Meeting Room
Seats comfortably 12 people in boardroom style and is equipped with fold-up tables and stackable chairs.
Open space
Flexible use. Can seat 50 people for forums and can be set up for small discussion groups around tables. It can be used for activities such as painting, exercise classes and special events. Ask if your activity can be accommodated.
For events such as a launch of an exhibition at which people stand and mingle, more people can be accommodated.

● 3 whiteboards with flipchart
● Overhead projector
● TV/Video/DVD player (DVD player mp3 compatible)
● Laptop and Projector on specific request
* The equipment is available at no charge
Kitchen Facilities
Available with cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery so that you can self cater.
Hire Fees
All fees and charges for the use of the Centre, including room hire and equipment, are reviewed and set annually by Council, and are set in line with the running costs of the Centre.
*Hire fees are on a session, rather than an hourly basis. Fee is for any time up to four hours.

*Community Groups able to use the Centre for free are non government, not for profit organisations whose functions are not for commercial benefit, or for private or individual purpose.
Public Liability insurance is required and, if necessary, purchased to cover the event.

Centre staffed 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. Access out of these hours by arrangement.
The nearest bus stop: Stop X1 (northern side) and C1 (southern side), Sturt StRoutes: G10, G11, G20, G21 and G22 to and from southern suburbs. Routes in other directions require connections from the City Centre.
Green Connector Bus: Stop in Sturt Street near the Centre. Every hour on the hour.Disability friendly building.
