The Box Factory Community Centre boasts five flexible spaces with unique features and an outside public courtyard available for use / hire weekdays from 4pm and during the weekend.
Our Rooms
● Regent Room: Seating 80 - 120 cocktail style | This is a large warehouse style room suitable for a diverse range of activities. It is also home to our exhibition space and has its own entrance / exit via stairs leading to the outside courtyard. A great space for classes, talks, seminars and parties
● Hurtle Kitchen: Seating 25 - 40 cocktail style | A large fully equipped kitchen and open plan dining space with picture windows. Here you will find our bookshare to browse and toys for play
● McLaren Room: Seating 20 - 25 | A medium sized general use / meeting room off the foyer. Contains our 3 public access computers that anyone with an Adelaide City Council library card can use during our opening hours
● Halifax and Carrington Rooms: Seating 16 - 20 | Two meeting rooms, the Halifax is set up classroom style while the Carrington acts as an intimate discussion space
All our rooms contain tables, chairs, have air conditioning and most are carpeted, have whiteboards and noticeboards. We are disability friendly with a lift and accessible toilets on each of our two storeys.

● Community groups are non-government, not-for-profit organisations or groups of community members whose functions are not for commercial benefit, or for private or individual purpose
● We base our hire fees on a session rather than an hourly basis. A session is any time up to 4 hours
● Public Liability Insurance is required by groups so bring a copy of your Certificate of Currency. Private Hirers can purchase cover for a $15 administration fee (limited annual availability)
● Hire fees include access to tea and coffee making facilities. You will need to bring your own refreshments (such as tea, coffee, milk & sugar)
