North Adelaide Community Centre is in a beautifully renovated heritage building only five minutes from Adelaide CBD. A few yards away is O'Connell Street, one of Adelaide's famous restaurant precincts. O'Connell Street has restaurants, cafés and pubs to suit every taste, including Modern Australian, Irish, American, Japanese, Italian, Thai, Chinese, Indian, Central European and many others.

The Centre is the ideal location for community happenings, private social functions, such as family reunions or birthday parties; or corporate events, whether work or entertainment oriented.

The Hall

Our hall is the original 'Village Hall' of North Adelaide. It has a high, ornate ceiling and was expertly restored in heritage style by Adelaide City Council in 1997. It has a full heating and air conditioning system, so is ideal for a range of functions throughout the year.

A large stage with theatre lighting enables the Centre to be used for live performances. Picture rails supported by specialist lighting make the Centre equally at home as an artist's gallery.

The hall measures 14.5 metres long, by 12 metres wide, and can be adapted to any function, any use.

Audio equipment is available for corporate or community events at no extra charge. Round or square tables with chairs are included in the hire charge.
