Council recognises that children and young people are an important part of the City community. The City of Adelaide plays a lead role in ensuring that the City is a place where children and young people choose to live, learn, work & visit.
A-List
The A-List is an exciting opportunity for energetic and enthusiastic young people aged 20-24 who wish to launch their careers within the diverse range of employment opportunities in the City of Adelaide.
Youth Policy and Action Plan
The Time of Your Life is Adelaide City Council's Youth Policy and Action Plan for 2004 - 2008. It is a specific youth policy which helps Council to have a particular focus on young people as important users of the City.
School resources
Council offer a range of support programs and resources for schools and students, including the Adelaide Education Attractions guide, a popular teacher’s resource called Adelaide Footprints and access to a purpose built City Classroom in the heart of Adelaide.
Recreation
Council manages two popular youth recreation sites in the City, City SK8 Park and Kurrangga Park BMX Track. Both are world class youth facilities which provide safe spaces for young people to meet and have fun.
