The study conducted by the Adelaide City Council, compared the city’s carbon emissions in 2006 and 2010 in an effort to measure the effectiveness of initiatives to reduce the city’s emissions.

Adelaide City Council, in partnership with Encounter Youth and SAPOL, has been successful in receiving a $151,000 grant from the Federal Government’s National Binge Drinking Strategy.

Announced today by Minister Mark Butler, Minister for Mental Health and Ageing, the funding is part of the Community Level Initiatives and will be used for the Green Team West End Project to engage young people and reduce binge drinking and its associated risks.
