Additional Data Analysis
The research team at Adelaide City Council can also carry out data analysis and extraction on request.
Spatial Analysis, Modelling and Mapping
Information collected and maintained by Council can also be analysed and/or modelled using geographic information systems (GIS) and visualised via maps of the City.
For example, maps could display the locations or distribution of employment across the city over time or commercial land use types, origin of U-Park patrons, retail activity or catchments for services:
» Building Employment Number 2008 (PDF, 368Kb)
» Total Parking by SA Post Code (PDF, 901Kb)
» Retail Activity Adelaide: South West Corner (PDF, 656Kb)
» Adelaide City Council Library Locations (PDF, 149Kb)
Additional data analysis, spatial analysis or mapping specific elements within the City can be requested from Research Services:

Additional research work or customised analysis may depend upon Adelaide City Council collecting or holding the data in the first place, and on the availability of staff to conduct the analysis. Timeframes for delivery of information will be negotiated on a case by case basis.
