The redevelopment of the Sturt Street car park site is an innovative residential development supporting population growth and delivering affordable housing in the city.

We're improving the level of safety for pedestrians and cyclists in the South West corner with a traffic signalized pedestrian crossing is being installed on the West side of Whitmore Square.
Whitmore Square Affordable EcoHousing
Council’s development on the corner of Sturt Street and Whitmore Square is now complete and comprises 26 residential apartments and one commercial tenancy.
