Wingfield Waste & Recycling Centre
The Wingfield Waste & Recycling Centre forms the "HUB" of the larger proposed Eco-industrial Precinct, and operates as a cluster of commercial business under a common land lord (Adelaide City Council).
The Centre aims are to provide a "one stop shop" for waste receipt, processing and recycling by accommodating complementary resource recovery activities. One of the key goals of the Centre is to provide the widest possible variety of waste management and resource recovery activities and solutions in one location.
The Wingfield Waste & Recycling Centre aspires to process the majority of the waste material generated in the northern region and convert this into useful resources and energy in line with Zero Waste objectives."
