Joining Up is FREE!
Any resident of South Australia is welcome to join the Adelaide City Libraries. All you need is identification with your name and signature. Applications may be made in person or online.
Full membership is available after a three month provisional period to any South Australian resident who is able to provide formal identification with name, address, date of birth and signature.
Members unable to provide the above will continue to be able to borrow the provisional limit until details are able to be provided.
Identifictaion may include: South Australian driver’s license, proof of age card, healthcare card, etc.
• Age 16-17 as above but require parent or legal guardian authorisation for internet use.
• Age 15 and under a parent or legal guardian will be required to complete an application form that names the child / children. A Medicare card or passport which names the child / children will also be required for verification. Parental or legal guardian authorisation is required for internet use.
Full membership is for 5 years and you will need to renew on expiry. Your expiry date is available on your online account.
Membership is not transferable. You are responsible for all debts incurred on cards guaranteed by you.
