Adelaide City Council has a strong, ongoing commitment to people development. The ACC lives this commitment through the provision of a comprehensive learning and development program that allows employees to develop and update their skills and knowledge, not only to help them in their current job role, but also to prepare them for future career opportunities.

The Organisational Development Team provide training and study advice to employees whilst sourcing the best possible external providers to meet the needs of our staff.

The Human Resources Business Unit also manages internal, and more informal, learning and development initiatives.

Munch-Mingle-Master Series

A lunch and learn concept that aims to offer networking opportunities, the possibility to discover the hidden talents and knowledge of others and to lift levels of communication across the organisation. These sessions include lunch (MUNCH), an opportunity to network and meet other people in the organisation (MINGLE), and a presentation on an interesting and exciting topic (MASTER).

The organisational Development Team are usually approached by other members of the organisation with innovative and exciting topics that they would like to share with fellow employees. Topics are diverse and wide-ranging, allowing staff to openly share any experiences, advice, projects or other innovations.
