Disabled Parking At UPark
The UPark Accessibility Pass provides 2 hours free parking up to 52 times per year at all UPark car parks.
You must apply directly to UPark for an Accessibility Pass by filling out a registration form and attaching with a copy of your current SA Disability Parking Permit.
The UPark Accessibility Pass supersedes any other disabled permit parking discount available at UPark.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a discounted disabled parking in Adelaide City Council UParks you must:
● Be a South Australian Resident
● Have a current and valid Disabled Parking Permit* issued by Transport SA
* Please note that blue Disabled Parking Permits are no longer valid and an Accessibility Pass will not be issued if submitted with your application.
How to Apply
You must apply directly to UPark for an Accessibility Pass with a copy of your current Disabled Parking Permit. Please fill out an application form:
● Print the application form (PDF, 24Kb)
● Request a copy from any UPark cashier
● Submit an online form (requires a scanned image of your Disability Parking Permit)
Completed forms, along with a photocopy of your valid SA Disabled Parking Permit can be posted to UPark Administration, GPO 2252, Adelaide SA 5001 or handed to a UPark cashier.
Conditions
A UPark Accessibility Pass will only be provided once a copy of a current and valid South Australian Disabled Permit has been received.
Following processing of your application, you should receive your UPark Accessibility Pass within 14 days.
The UPark Accessibility Pass will provide you with up to 2 hours free parking for a maximum of 52 visits per 12 month period. No credit is provided for stays under 2 hours and stays of more than 2 hours will incur costs which are to be paid upon exit.
From 31 July 2011 UPark will not provide any Disabled Parking discount unless a valid UPark Accessibility Pass is produced.
The UPark Accessibility Pass will automatically cease providing a discount when reported lost, stolen or has met the maximum number of visits per 12 month period.

Costs
The 2 hours free is calculated by removing the 1–2 hour fee from the total charge, for example:
Hourly Charge (example charges only):
0–1 hour: $2.20
1–2 hours: $3.60
2–3 hours: $6
Parking for 2 hours and 45 minutes would normal attract the fee of $6. Inserting your UPark Accessibility Pass provides a 2 hour fee discount of $3.60 , the residual charge required for payment is $2.40.
