Fossicking

Detecting, fossicking, scavenging or any activity of this nature that may involve the disturbance of natural sediments has the potential to damage previously unrecorded Aboriginal archaeological sites. These disturbances constitute an offence under the Section 23 of the SA Aboriginal Heritage Act 1988.

These activities are not permitted by Adelaide City Council.

● The Heritage Places Act (SA) 2005
● The Native Title (SA) Act 1994
