Community groups

Community groups play an important role in sharing local information, raising concerns and liaising openly with Council.

There are several independent resident and community groups, across Adelaide and North Adelaide. They promote and advocate for the interests of the residents and the local community in the residential areas of the city and North Adelaide.

West End Reference Group

The West End Reference Group (WERG) aims to improve community safety through building positive partnerships, community capacity and resilience.

The City of Adelaide has played a facilitation role in this group since 2005. It meets on a quarterly basis.
